Prior to joining ClearDATA, he was the Vice President of Strategy & Digital Heath at TELUS Health, the largest digital health company in Canada and part of the country’s leading telecommunication company ($14B). Among his many successes at TELUS, Cherian launched new digital health services, scaling the country’s first FHIR-based interoperable digital health platform integrating primary care among physicians, pharmacists, patients and private payors. These pioneering new digital health services included online booking, virtual care, electronic prescribing and connecting a variety of innovative third-party digital health apps.

Additionally, Cherian served as Vice President of Pharmacy Innovation at Shoppers Drug Mart where he led the digitization of the medication management process for the country’s largest retail pharmacy chain.
